A little about me 

I started cutting hair at just 13 years old here at The Village Squire, before going on to work in some of Colchester’s top barbershops. I took over the shop in 2013 and have continued its long-standing tradition ever since.

With over 20 years of experience, I focus on delivering high-quality, consistent cuts across both modern and traditional styles.

Paula - Barber

I trained at the London College of Fashion, starting my career in 1991 and building a strong foundation working in London salons. In 2007, I transitioned into barbering, bringing my experience into a more classic, precision-focused craft.

Since then, I’ve worked in some of Colchester’s top barbershops, refining my skills across both modern and traditional styles. I now work here at The Village Squire, offering a professional, detail-driven service shaped by over 30 years in the industry.
